Our Story

We joyfully reunite to celebrate the deep roots and vibrant legacy of our family—descendants of Ezekiel and Myda Brown, who were married on May 10th, 1926 in Charleston, Missouri. Now largely rooted in Detroit, Michigan, our family stands strong in spirit, love, and truth. We are a people of faith, guided by Yahuah, and we proudly carry the name TIGHTTogether In God’s Hands Today—a reflection of our unity and purpose.

Our lineage tells a powerful story: misnamed as African American, we are in truth aboriginals of America, woven from many Native tribes. We are gifted, spiritual, musical, inventive, and close-knit—bound not just by blood, but by legacy and divine calling. Through loss and hardship, we’ve endured. Through love and resilience, we thrive.

Our 2025 reunion marks more than a gathering—it is a revival of heritage and heart. With a gold heart locket as our logo, symbolizing enduring love, and colors of royal blue and old gold, we step into this moment with pride and purpose. This is our time. This is our family. We are TIGHT.
